Fraser Ridge Tree Farm is a family owned and operated tree farm specializing in Fraser Firs. We are located in the Blue Ridge Mountains along the North Carolina/Virginia border in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. Our goal is to grow quality, high end trees and get them to our customers as fresh as they can possibly be. We are small enough to provide excellent attention to detail in growing and harvesting our trees, but large enough to meet all of your needs. Fraser Fir Christmas trees are shipped to every state in the United States, as well as the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and all over the world. The Fraser Fir is native to the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia with the two best seed sources for Fraser Firs being Roan Mountain, NC and Mt. Rogers, VA. The Fraser Fir has a soft, deep blue-green foliage and branches are strong yet pliable to hold the heaviest of ornaments. The delightful aroma and incomparable needle retention makes for the perfect Christmas tree. The Fraser Fir is a renewable and recyclable resource, and an environmentally friendly choice.
Premium Grown Trees Delivered Fresh From The Farm
Quality Fraser Firs do not just happen. An 8' tree takes approximately 14 years to grow from seed to harvest in the field. Each tree is given individual attention a minimum of 10 times each year, and as many as 125-140 times throughout the growing process. After planting the trees require yearly fertilization, weed control, pest control, and shearing until harvesting. We take great pride in growing and delivering a premium Christmas tree to our customers. By being a quality oriented, family farm we are able to ship your trees within 48 hours from the time they are harvested. Our trees are cut to order and loaded and shipped promptly. Our trees do not sit at a loading yard for weeks before they are shipped. We hope you and your customers enjoy your trees as much as we enjoy growing them.
